Nanga Mill Campground is one of a number of campgrounds situated along the Murray River within Lane Poole Reserve.

Campers can enjoy numerous recreational activities from bushwalking mountain biking, swimming, canoeing and kayaking along the Murray River.

The campground is very popular during school holidays and weekends from October to April, particularly public holiday weekends. Be prepared with an alternative place to stay at these times in case there is no suitable campsite available.

Campfires are usually permitted, in the fire rings provided, but fire restrictions may be imposed at any time and without notice. Bring your own firewood. When fire restrictions are in place campfires must not be lit and any appliance powered by burning solid fuel must not be used.

Campers are advised to bring enough drinking water for the duration of their stay.

Bookings cannot be made. Park entry fees apply.

Nanga Mill is the largest campground in Lane Poole Reserve with space for 55 large tents, large campervans, camper trailers or caravans. As an `open` campground with no separate individual campsites it is ideal for groups camping together: campers may set up camp anywhere between the pines with consideration to other campers and to the environment. The campground has fireplaces with barbeque plates, picnic tables and benches. Campfires are usually permitted April 1 to November 30 but fire restrictions may be imposed without notice. Bring your own firewood. Bookings cannot be made for Nanga Mill. Be prepared with an alternative place to stay during school holidays and weekends from October to April, particularly public holiday weekends, in case the campground is full.
