About
Optus Stadium and the surrounding park is located east of the Perth Central Business District, on the Burswood Peninsula. With views of the picturesque Swan River and Perth city in the west and the foothills in the east, this 60,000-seat, world-class, multi-purpose Stadium hosts a variety of sports and entertainment events including Australian Football League, International and Big Bash League cricket, soccer, rugby league and union, plus concerts.
The surrounding Stadium Park precinct provides year-round access for visitors of all ages to enjoy the nature playgrounds in the Chevron Parkland, the BHP Boardwalk and Amphitheatre, picnic and barbecue areas, public art, recreational facilities and the opportunity to dine in the buffet or ala-carte restaurants that overlook the Swan River.
In July 2022, Optus Stadium was awarded Venue of the Year at the Stadium Business Awards in Manchester and was previously voted the Most Beautiful Sports Facility in the World in the Prix Versailles 2019 international architecture awards.

What an absolutely amazing place! I had such a fantastic time visiting Optus Stadium. The atmosphere was incredible, and the facilities were top-notch. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area! 🏟️✨ Loved every moment. Can't wait to go back! 🙌😊

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Optus Stadium is definitely one of the top stadiums I’ve been to! Modern, massive and still looking brand new, because apparently Perth decided we deserved nice things. 😂🏟️ We went to watch Juventus vs Inter and the atmosphere was absolutely unreal! ⚽️🔥 Even better, there’s Little Italy right next to it, so you can go from screaming at the referee to eating Italian food in approximately 30 seconds. 🇮🇹😂 Great stadium, great atmosphere, great location. The only problem is that after experiencing this, watching football on TV from the sofa feels like a downgrade. 😂 Definitely recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I attended my graduation ceremony at Optus Stadium, and it was an unforgettable experience. The venue was impressive, spacious and beautifully presented, providing the perfect setting for such an important milestone. The ceremony was well organised, and the overall atmosphere made the occasion feel incredibly special. A wonderful place to celebrate one of the proudest moments of my life.

I'm sorry Adelaide Oval, as much as I love going there, Optus is a better oval. It helped that they could take what they liked from earlier designs but the fact that anyone can choose any vacant seat anywhere is really good thinking. The interior, under stadium ring road, is brilliant. The armchairs in one section are decadent and appealing. The views are commanding from anywhere and everywhere. I love this oval and strongly suggest anyone who can, to take the tour and see how really good it is.

1st time to Optus stadium watching Freo to play and win it’s was a double treat. Amazing stadium, it’s just huge with good facilities available at each level/floor. It’s a tedious process to get in to your spot (depending upon where it is) so plan accordingly. The dedicated Perth station service was awesome. Can’t wait to come back for another exciting experience. On the side note, coffee was not good :(
