Definitely worth visiting either as a local or a tourist. Beautiful parkland by the Swan River. Long peaceful walks on pedestrian/cycle path. Camfield Pub is large and friendly with good food and drink. The Matagarup Bridge zipline experience is probably enjoyable but also probably expensive (I haven't done it).

its very calming to have a brisk walk, jog, run, cycle, or even e-scootering around the park. it does get busy though, so if you'd prefer hardly anyone around, definitely be there in the really early mornings.

Beautiful area outside the Optus Stadium. Next to the Swan River and between Windan Bridge and Matagarup Bridge. Walkway, playground, Cafe, toilet and parking available.

I had the chance to walk around Optus Stadium, and it was a fantastic experience! The area is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery, wide open spaces, and stunning views of the Swan River. The pathways are well-paved and perfect for a relaxing stroll, whether you’re solo, with family, or walking your dog. There’s plenty of seating along the way, so you can stop and take in the scenic surroundings. The stadium itself is impressive, and walking around it gives you a great sense of its size and architecture. There are also informative plaques and statues around, making it an enjoyable walk even for those interested in the history and design of the stadium. I highly recommend this as a great spot for a peaceful walk with beautiful views!
