Wagonga Picnic Area

Take the Wagonga Scenic Drive from the Princes Highway north or south of Narooma, and it will lead you down to Wagonga Inlet and this picturesque picnic area. This is an ideal spot to sit back and enjoy a picnic lunch, with spectacular water views.

There are a couple of short tracks from the picnic tables to the waters edge. The remains of the old jetty are still there, but this area no longer accommodates the large steamers as it did during the latter part of the 1800s.

To access the scenic drive from the north, exit right at Kianga Road. Continue onto Box Cutting Road, and then left onto Wagonga Scenic Drive. The drive ends at a T-intersection at the Old Highway. Take a left to return to the Princes Highway and Narooma. If you are coming from the south, take the reverse route.
