Self Guided E-Bike Tour - Narooma to Tilba Valley Winery via Central Tilba & Mystery Bay
They will meet you at your accommodation in Narooma or the Surrounding area at 9 am to pick you up for the E-Bike briefing. You will be given a map of how to get to the Tilba Valley Winery via Central Tilba and Mystery Bay and full pre-ride training. It is approximately a 3.5-hour E-Bike ride from Narooma to the Tilba Valley Winery through beautiful rolling valleys with stunning countryside. Stop off in Central Tilba and try the delicious Tilba Dairy cheeses at the ABC cheese factory or the Bates General Store to taste the Tilba Fudge. The pedal assists advanced technology of our Giant Electric Powered Mountain Bikes means that you can choose individually the level of difficulty for your ride. The electric motor starts as soon as you pedal and goes up to 25 km/hr. You can either ride the e-bike with no assist like a normal bike or full level assist to cruise through the countryside with ease. They are often told by returning guests "I am never riding a normal bike again. How much are they and where can I buy one from?" - Yes they are that much fun!
Self Guided E-Bike Tour - Wagonga Wilderness Trail - 4 Hour E-Bike Hire
If you love getting close to nature and getting away from crowds then this is the ride for you. They will drop you off at Kianga Road where you will start your ride. (This avoids riding on the highway). The loop from Kianga Road via the Wagonga Scenic Drive back into Narooma is one of our favourite cycle routes. The loop takes in stunning vistas over the Wagonga Inlet from the lookout high up on the hill with views right out to sea including to Baranguba (Montague Island.) Riding mainly on quiet dirt roads there is no better way to connect with friends and take in all of the beauty of the surroundings. There is the most beautiful picnic area at the back of the Wagonga Inlet at Brices Bay. Stop and enjoy your local produce picnic with views over the Wagonga Inlet oyster leases. This is a long ride with lots of steep hills so stopping in such a tranquil setting is good to give you a rest before setting off again. The last part of the loop takes in stunning dairy pastures and more amazing views over the water.

- 5 hour E-Bike hire - Complimentary drink at Dromedary Hotel (daily) - Return transfer from Central Tilba When: Departs 7 days per week, year round Pick up from accommodation at 9AM Fitness level: Basic fitness level with cycling experience essential - cycling on country roads sealed and unsealed Included: Helmet, backpack, bike lock, pre-rider briefing, vehicle back up support Bring: Closed toe shoes, water bottle, sunscreen, light jacket We'll pick you up from your Narooma accommodation and transfer you to the Narooma Visitor Information Centre for bike fitting, helmets, and a map. Ride along Ridge Road to Central Tilba, explore the shops, and taste Tilba Fudge at Bates General Store. Enjoy the stunning Bellbrook Loop Walk with breath taking views. Relish a complimentary drink at the Dromedary Hotel. or Sweetwater Restaurant. We highly recommend the food at both venues and of course Chris's legendary cocktails at Sweetwater (at your own cost). Our e-bikes offer adjustable pedal assist for a customized ride. Many guests prefer them over traditional bikes! At about 2 PM, we'll pick you and the e-bikes up from The Dromedary Hotel so you can fully enjoy the experience without the ride home.

Welcome to Country - Self Guided E-Bike Tour - Yuin Stories
The Narooma to Dalmeny Coastal Trail has been inhabited by the local Yuin Nations people dating back many thousands of years due to its abundance of produce and the importance of the spiritual identity of the area. The coast was a place of gathering and ancient middens can be found up and down the South Coast. The area around Narooma and Tilba connects the Yuin people to their spiritual identity including Gulaga the Mother Mountain (Mount Dromedary) and Baranguba (Montague Island) her eldest son. The tour starts at our shop and from there, your self guided tour takes you to the Bar Rock Lookout. This is where you will stop for 45 minutes to meet with our Yuin Nation Guide. From here you say goodbye to the Yuin guide and continue self-guided to the Narooma Wharf where you may spot giant stingrays, pelicans, fish and sometimes even seals and continuing along the track to the Narooma Bridge with panoramic views across the Wagonga Inlet to Gulaga Mountain in the distance. From here continue on to the Mill Bay Boardwalk and on to the numerous breathtaking beaches all the way to Mummaga Lake in Dalmeny.

Southbound escapes staff are always accommodating/friendly and professional. ive used them a number of times now and never been disappointed. The Burnaaga goanna trail is awesome. well worth the visit. be aware that its not for beginner riders Matt was a great shuttle driver. provided good instruction on what to expect and gave us some interesting background on the trail build and area.

My son and I spent the morning exploring the Narooma trials during our recent trip to Narooma. After hiring bikes at the trail head, we headed to meet the shuttle. It was our first time mountain biking and Matt’s wisdom, relaxed manner and unexpected helpfulness made our morning! He went the extra mile for every trip ( squeezing in as many as he could!) helping me with my bike and full of encouragement and great vibes! Such a great service and top bloke- thanks guys! Highly recommend :)

My family of 4 hired ebikes from Southbound Escapes in Feb 2026. It was our first time on ebikes so we were a bit nervous. However the staff put our minds at ease with their friendly and thorough explanation of how the bikes worked. We hired for 2 hours and did the Narooma-Dalmeny cycle path which was very scenic. The bikes were great, very easy to use and good quality (2 x Giant and 2 x Norco). We arrived back about 15 mins late and I offered to pay extra for that time but the staff would not hear of it. This ride was some of the best fun I have had in a long time and I would strongly recommend everyone but especially families take their kids when they are in beautiful Narooma.

We hung out with Southbound Escapes twice over the summer school holidays, opting to be shuttled for a morning at both the Playground and Gravity zones. Matt was our captain both times and provided great banter, as well as great advice on what to ride next and some features to keep an eye out for. We felt very welcomed and taken care of, like someone was watching out to make sure we made it to the bottom each time. Our family recommends Southbound Escapes for your Narooma MTB shuttling needs. Great people, great service!

We rented ebikes here and i’ve gotta be honest.. they’re really bad. The chain needs oil and replacement. It kept clicking and getting stuck making the whole ride much more uncomfortable. They are really slow which requires you to pedal a lot so paying higher price for an e-bike becomes quite unworthy. The staff is really indifferent. We walked into the shop and we havent even been greeted. The woman at the desk just looked at us and waited for us to say something. Really awkward and very unwelcoming. She had zero patience and was really rushy into getting us to fill the forms. I think if you don’t like to deal with people, you shouldn’t be working in customer services. The young blonde girl (that i believe she works at a restaurant nearby) was really smiley and nice. The whole area is beautiful, but that has nothing to do with this rental place. I don’t recommend this shop for bike rentals. There’s definitely better places to go to.
