Visiting Iris Lodge Alpacas is one of the must-do activities on the Central Coast. Nestled in the scenic region of Jilliby, just an hour north of Sydney, we offer an array of unique and interactive farm experiences that are perfect for all ages.
Iris Lodge Alpacas is proud to be Ecotourism certified since July 2021.
At Iris Lodge Alpacas, you'll have the chance to get up close and personal with our delightful herd of 140 alpacas and 12 llamas. But that's not all! Their farm is also home to 75 Wiltipoll sheep, baby doll sheep, and a variety of horses, creating a rich and diverse animal experience for visitors.
They also offer the following accessible experiences.
Alpaca and llama adventure Breakfast with alpacas. Brunch with alpacas. Alpaca meet-and-greets. Alpaca farm visits including Babydoll and Wiltipoll sheep.

Alpaca Meet & Greet
Embark on an unforgettable adventure on the Central Coast as you indulge in an Alpaca Meet & Greet. Immerse yourself in the world of these gentle creatures and create lasting memories that will warm your heart. Your Alpaca Encounter Highlights: Meet Their Magnificent Alpaca Herd: Step into a world of wonder as you get acquainted with their remarkable herd of over 100 alpacas. Educational Interaction: Delve into the captivating world of alpacas during this one hour immersive experience, hand-feeding their alpacas. Their team will be on hand to provide fascinating insights about the alpaca's behaviours and characteristics. Just ask their friendly team any questions may have. Cuddles and Connection: Discover the joy of cuddles and neck rubs from the affectionate alpacas. Capture picture-perfect moments with these photogenic companions – don't forget to bring your camera! Experience Details: Schedule: 12:30pm from Friday to Sunday, with daily sessions during NSW school holidays. For group bookings of 10 or more, appointments are available on weekdays. Please contact them directly for group arrangements. Sunday special extended hours. Stay as long as you like during their Sunday extended tour hours.

Brunch with Alpacas
Experience the joy of Brunch with Alpacas at Iris Lodge, one of the best activities on the Central Coast. Immerse yourself in nature and make lasting memories with the alpacas, llamas, sheep, and cows. This 2.5-hour adventure starts with a delightful brunch shared with the friendly alpaca and llama companions. Alpaca Adventure Highlights: Meet and Feed Billy: Their friendly guard alpaca loves sliced carrots. Ellie the Wiltipoll Sheep: Learn about her love for deep tissue massages. Engage with Will and Harry: Meet the friendly herd of llamas. Babydoll Sheep: Interact with adorable babydoll sheep. Hand-Feed Benny and the Wiltipoll Flock: Discover their unique traits. Lola and Abby: Say hello to the vigilant Maremma dogs who guard the sheep. We had such a great experience with the Brunch with Alpacas package! The animals were so cute and surprisingly smart. Billy was especially clever with all his little entertaining behaviours. And the sheep, 64 and 32, gave me unforgettable moments while I was feeding them. I absolutely loved the time spent here!

Wonderful morning having "Brunch with the alpacas" as well as llamas, funny little baby doll sheep and guinea fowl! Sharon & Sean welcome you and provide a yummy brunch. Then you meet and feed the animals, who are all pet- and it shows! Be sure to take some bananas (as suggested when you book) to ensure you'll have a few followers around the paddock 😊

amazing day, absolutely loved the spread of fruit for brunch and the animals are all so friendly and have great personalities. bathrooms are really up to date, the paddocks arent too far of a walk from each other, the price ($70 for brunch and 2.5hrs with the animals) is really fair. will definitely go again in the future.

We spent the morning at Iris Lodge for the ‘Brunch with the Alpacas’ experience. Our delicious brunch of juice, yoghurt and fruit, a bacon and egg sandwich as well as coffee was followed by a fabulous session in the paddocks with a variety of farm animals. We fed sheep, llamas and alpacas with pellets and carrots. We were amused by banana eating Billy and the antics of the the many guinea fowl. Our hosts Sean and Sharon, welcomed us to their home and shared their knowledge and experience with us. All in all, a great morning!

My wife and I visited Iris Lodge Alpacas this morning for our anniversary and had the best time. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and Daniel was great. Breakfast was delicious — bacon and egg rolls with a homemade dessert that was amazing. The owners were lovely and really informative about the alpacas and the farm. Such a peaceful, happy place — we’ll definitely be back!
