Visiting Iris Lodge Alpacas is one of the must-do activities on the Central Coast. Nestled in the scenic region of Jilliby, just an hour north of Sydney, we offer an array of unique and interactive farm experiences that are perfect for all ages.
Iris Lodge Alpacas is proud to be Ecotourism certified since July 2021.
At Iris Lodge Alpacas, you'll have the chance to get up close and personal with their delightful herd of 140 alpacas and 12 llamas. But that's not all! Their farm is also home to 75 Wiltipoll sheep, baby doll sheep, and a variety of horses, creating a rich and diverse animal experience for visitors.
They also offer the following accessible experiences: Alpaca and llama adventure, breakfast with alpacas, brunch with alpacas, Alpaca meet and greets and alpaca farm visits including babydoll and wiltipoll sheep.

Owner was lovely. We had a chance to meet & greet Alpacas for an hour (it's actually more than enough!) They weren't rushing us off or anything towards the end. We were allowed to walk around the Alpaca area further down if we wanted to (careful of manures!) Unlimited feeding refills for the Alpacas too! Overall 10/10

As someone who has loved alpacas for over twenty years, this is by far the most satisfying farm I’ve ever visited! There were so many alpacas I lost count, plus unlimited feeding and the freedom to stay until closing time. I was initially worried their coats would be shorn too short for the heat, but they were actually trimmed so neatly—no "plowed field" patches in sight! Their temperaments were incredible🥰People always ask me, "Did you get spit on?" and this time I can proudly say: absolutely not! It’s clear the owner treats them like his own children rather than just livestock. He’s very chatty and shared so much about their history and habits. I used to think they were purely food-motivated, but a brown juvenile named Prince followed me affectionately even when I had no food left🥹I truly felt the love! We also met a llama named Bryan who doesn't quite fit in with the rest. The owner specifically had us go over to feed him and keep him company. Such a happy day! Even though I’m leaving Australia soon, I’ll definitely be back☺️ Highly recommended👍👍👍

I have visited 3 times over the years, and love it every single time. I took my friend for her birthday over the weekend and I was blown away by how accommodating the team was, providing a ramp for the walker, encouraging the llamas to come over to us. The weather was perfect. I consider myself a frequent visitor now.

Literally had the best time feeding all the alpacas!! I highly recommend doing this as a friend group activity, because you can see your friends get chased by sheep (look out for Chappy). The customer service is also really great, they often came around to make sure we were alright and to fill up our feeding buckets. The sheep and the alpacas are so so cute and they seem very well taken care of.

Wonderful morning having "Brunch with the alpacas" as well as llamas, funny little baby doll sheep and guinea fowl! Sharon & Sean welcome you and provide a yummy brunch. Then you meet and feed the animals, who are all pet- and it shows! Be sure to take some bananas (as suggested when you book) to ensure you'll have a few followers around the paddock 😊
