My wife and I had a half day sunset flight out of Berkeley River Lodge early May and it was awesome. Nick the pilot was very informative and knowledgeable about the history and the area and also very entertaining. He is an exceptional pilot and we were landing in some incredibly remote places only accessibleby helicopter. The helicopter was roomy and comfortable. The sunset was amazing, we had landed in a tiny cleared area of vegetation on th only big hill, an was amazing, shared with Nick, the other guests and a couple of beverages with nibbles. This is a must for any in the Kimberly's. We highly recommend this tour or anywhere you could do a True North Helicopter flight. Thanks guys😃👍👍🚁
We truly enjoyed our helicopter tour from Berkeley River Lodge. We did the morning have day trip. The helicopter experience was stunning .., thank you Nick (our pilot) for your knowledge of the region and history, and especially with the way you engaged with your passengers! Definitely would love to come back and perhaps do the afternoon/sunset trip next time!🥰
Absolutely magnificent! Highly, highly recommend. We spent a full half day and sunset with Nick and he was the most talented and fabulous pilot - he could land on a rock in the river and in between gum trees! We had 5 separate flights in our afternoon - some of them especially exciting (swooping off hills and waterfalls!). I would do this again in a heartbeat. He was also full of great information about the land and the helicopter.
We did the Ultimate Kimberley Heli Flight on our last day at Berkeley River Lodge and it was an amazing 4 hours that topped off our holiday. The Pilot was so knowledgeable of the area and took us over some great sights of the Berkeley region. We stopped for a swim in a rock pool which was magical, a snake tried to get a lift back with us in the helicopter. We stopped and viewed some Aboriginal rock art, flew over a bush fire, saw the King George river and finished with sunset drinks on top of Mt Casuarina with a glass of champagne. Fantastic tour
We did then sunset tour whilst staying at Berkley River Lodge, It was spectacular, informative and a lot of fun. Snacks and refreshments were provided and well appreciated. Stuart our pilot had excellent flying skills and made even the most nervous of the group feel comfortable and was very knowledgeable and entertaining whilst in the air and at the at the spectacular locations we parked at. We would highly recommend.
