Review of the restaurant only. Delicious food. Very limited menu but know that will be for a reason. The Asian dishes were fabulous. Service was pretty poor however. Took ages to get the staff’s attention, took about twenty minutes to even get our order in, so so slow and asked for plates for shared dishes and they just forgot and never came. In the end couldn’t be bothered to keep chasing them as was over the forgetfulness. Walked past us numerous times when we were trying to get their attention. So to conclude: food was great, venue was lovely with a fire, service slow and poor.

Very disappointing and unprofessional conduct from this property. After leaving an honest and factual review on Booking.com, I received a message stating they “do not tolerate rudeness” and that I was not welcome back. My review was not rude, it was simply truthful about my experience. Instead of addressing feedback professionally and constructively, they chose to respond defensively and in a confrontational manner. This says a lot about how they handle criticism and guest concerns. Guests should feel comfortable providing honest feedback without being spoken to in this way. I would think carefully before staying here if you value professionalism and respectful communication.

Spacious clean and renovated rooms. Amazing mountain views from our window and the shower was sooo refreshing! We had a king bed and two single beds to use. I found the beds comfortable but the pillows a bit soft.

Was walking the Australian Alps Walking Track AAWT but encountered medical issues and had to come off trail Bernti’s team not only made booking, checkin, and stay smooth… but went above and beyond to check on my wellbeing, help me get to medical assistance and provided immediate help overnight while we awaited getting down to Jindabyne next day. Rooms with gas fireplaces such as comforting feature, views of mountains uninterrupted Great value for money and central location

Delicious food - wow! Having a limited menu is always a good sign that all the options are going to be awesome. We ordered the dumpling curry and the ribs, and both were exceptional. The service was just as good! Highly recommended venue for a fabulous meal and service.
