At this riverside oasis, life moves in time with the waters that glide gently by. It’s just the place for a break if you prefer to set a slower, more relaxed pace when you’re away from it all.
Fish from the bank, launch the boat, have a splash, or kayak the river – as whitebellied sea eagles soar overhead. Walk the dog along nearby beaches and trails, picnic under shady trees, then bask in the sunset splendour over Mount Chincogan.
You’re just minutes from the village with its laid-back atmosphere, lively hotel and beautifully restored picture house. And well placed to explore further afield, to Byron Bay, Lennox Head and Ballina with their glorious coasts and hinterlands.
Myself, my mother and her dog had the best holiday here in October. We stayed in the tiny house option. Check in was at 2:00pm but we arrived at 11:00am after a 6.5 hour drive they let us check in early which we were so grateful for. It’s right on the river which is amazing in itself! Beautiful views of mountains over the river too. Has river access we went swimming everyday, the water is so clear. The grounds are clean, the people are friendly, it has useful amenities like a laundry room to do your washing. The tiny house had tvs, air con, double bed which was nice, fully equipped kitchen, shower, and toilet. The deck had river views and outdoor seating. Also we couldn’t hear any noise from the highway. Already planning our next holiday here, can’t wait to go back!
Reflections went out of their way to make our anniversary such a wonderful stay. Flowers, champagne and chocolates on arrival. What a lovely surprise. Wow thanks team you really excelled yourself. Always lovely to stay but this time , just perfect. Clean, quiet and oh so nice.
We stayed here for 3 nights recently. On arrival we was pretty suprised at how the place looked. Closed road alongside the park with a derelict building. Lots of permanent residents. Not an overly attractive park to stay. We asked for a water front site but was advised that these were not suitable for caravans as they didn't want an obstructions in front of the cabins. So we had to settle for a corner powered site. On walking around the park later we noticed a large shabby bus looking vehicle parked at the waterfront camping. Which was not far off the size of a caravan???? Apart from the above, the location of this park is ideal for a stroll into Brunswick. The amenities and camp kitchens were kept very clean. Make sure you take your mozzie and bug repellent, though as you will need it. I do feel this park is mega overpriced $75 per night for a powered site. 3 hours after arriving we were advised the power would be off for 4 hours due to a faulty power pole close by. We could have been advised of this at reception beforehand. But if you have a dog this is the only park that accepts them so had no choice for the area. I dont think we will be visiting again.
Clean, well-equipped cabin right opposite the river. Great ensuite shower and comfortable bed with good quality linen. Kitchenette had everything we needed. Dogs are welcome here and the common areas are spotless.
What a great place to stay! A choice of a tiny house or a 2 bedroom house facing the river. So relaxing and peaceful. We have been there several times and would recommend it to anyone. A short drive to the shopping centre where there are several places to buy food or eat out. The accommodation is very clean with everthing inside you might need. The beach is close by at the junction of the river. An easy booking system and friendly staff as well.
