One of the Otways' most spectacular waterfalls, Beauchamp Falls is in the Otway Forest Park. It is 2.5 hours drive south west of Melbourne, near the town of Beech Forest.
The Beauchamp Falls Walk is a three kilometre one-hour return walk. The walk leaves from the Beauchamp Falls Campground picnic area and takes you to the spectacular 20 metre waterfall. Walk through the beautiful towering rainforest and enjoy scenic views of mountain ash forests and thick ferns.
The Beauchamp Falls Campground is tucked away in the lush rainforest. This family-friendly campground is flat and spacious with dedicated areas for tents, caravans, campervans and camper trailers. There are fire pits, picnic tables and toilets available for use for campers and for day visitors at the nearby picnic area. This is a free and popular camping spot so it's best to arrive early to secure your spot. The road into the campground is unsealed but can easily be accessed by a two wheel drive vehicle and caravan.
The Forrest Mountain Bike Trail network is less than an hour's drive north east of this site via Forrest-Apollo Bay Road.
Bring your own water for drinking and cooking as there is no access to potable water.
Firewood around the campground is limited and may be wet, so it is recommended to bring your own.
The drive and walk to the falls is beautiful. I’d say a 30-45 minute hike there if you’re stopping to take it all in. There’s handrails to get down to the lower viewing point. Well worth the hike.

oh my god. overwhelmingly beautiful. worth the 20 min gravel road drive (even in a van;)). 45 min walk to the falls n 45 back (roughly). worth every second - you can basically sit IN the falls. i could sit there for hours. no one else there when we went. easy walk. felt like i was in a dream! the camp is unreal too (although the main camping area is locked off at the moment). has dump toilets, seating and fire pits w lil BBQ on top! would LIVE here if i could💓

Quick trip down to Beauchamp Falls after some heavy rain. Sun came out and plenty water flowing. Magic walk through the forest about 1.2km each way, noting downhill on way and uphill return. Plenty parking and. Basic amenities at car park.

A beautiful walk through the rainforest to a wonderful waterfall. I enjoyed this more than the Hopetoun and Triplet falls because it was the best of both a wonderful rainforest walk and a great waterfall. Please be careful of bush fires checking the latest Victoria information on the site.

Beauchamp Falls in the Otways.
I hadn't been there before. What a beautiful place. The forest is as lovely as the falls themselves.
The walk was 1.2km downhill to get to the falls. There were steps at the last part with a handrail. It was a 1.2km uphill walk to get back to the car. Might be a challenge for some.
At the car park there are toilets and picnic area.
