Kangaroo Tours at the Anglesea Golf Club

If you want to see some Roo’s up close and for a relatively good price, this is it. $15/adult. The host took us on a golf cart around to see the “local” Roo’s that live on the course. What took me by surprise is we frequently got off the cart to get closer and take great photos, while not disturbing the herd. The guide was very knowledgeable and great. Highly recommend this !

Wow! What a surprise this was! We got so close to the Kangaroos and saw so many Joeys on our tour. Great information from tour guide. These Roos were living their best life for sure! Better than any zoo tour I’ve done. Excellent value for money. Great cafe too!

We came here with our three children on Sunday. We had Bruce as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, respectful to the roos and the golfers and provided extensive information when we were curious. We will be returning back here again when we trip down to Anglesea again. Thank you Bruce.

It’s a bit pricey for a 15min tour and at the time there weren’t that many Kangaroos that can be seen only 5 sleeping around. Most of the place understandably is a golf course so I’m guessing when the course is full of players the Roos don’t venture to the course. Price should be discounted based on this lack of viewing.
