Great place to visit if ypu enjoy a bit of history and looking for a way to fill a good portion of the day. There are two tours to take part in the first being in the remand holding area the other the main jail. Both our tour guides were great and made the experience fun and enjoyable. You certainly get great insight into the buildings function and there place within thr city's history. The old goal has plenty of informative reading in most if the cells offering both personal histories of former prisoners and of the facility itself. Great ecperience all round.
