Bakehouse Steakhouse

The former Haley's Bakery, built in 1875, is now home to one of Ipswich's premier dining experiences, Bakehouse Steakhouse restaurant.

The site underwent a contemporary make-over while keeping its heritage bones intact. The original oven can still be seen in the restaurant. The result is a modern, yet character-filled restaurant and bar with a private dining room and a large outdoor area at the back, perfect for kicking back on sunny afternoons with a mojito.

The emphasis here is on steak, serving them with fries and a green salad, with a variety of sides available.

Bakehouse Steakhouse is open for dinner seven days and lunches Thursday to Sunday. Bookings and walk-ins accepted.
