Looking for somewhere affordable to relax on weekends and school holidays? The Gold Coast Recreation Precinct is located on the waterfront at Palm Beach, next to the Tallebudgera Creek and is the perfect place for a getaway with family and friends.
Their ensuite cabins sleep up to six guests in bunk-style accommodation and include a bar fridge, microwave, kettle and fan. Linen is available on request (charges apply).
David Fleay's Wildlife Park and Burleigh Head National Park are both within walking distance from the centre. There are public barbecues located on either side of the centre and a communal television room for their guests.
There are lots of fun things to keep the kids entertained during school holidays including casual activities over the school holidays. There is also sporting equipment available if you want to shoot hoops or have a go at pickleball (hire fees apply). For more information or to book visit the website.

You can tell it's poorly funded by the government, generally well maintained but they can't do much with such a small team. The bedding provided onsite is like hospital bedding, the rooms were clean but had ants and spiders everywhere that werent cleaned up. Toilet and shower had maintenance issues. The staff were lovely but they just need more funding to keep up with all the work.

Cabins were super filthy and had sand everywhere. Pillows were limited and felt plasticy just like the ‘sheets’ which also felt like plastic, that was not clean. Ladders got bunk bed are dangerous and recreational activities are limited. No solutions for weather.

We have been holding our youth summer camps here for over 6yrs and love it every single time! The staff are great and provide great activities for the kids, the food is awesome and the venue is quality Highly recommend booking your group camp here 👌🤗
