I have had nothing but a positive experience coming here. The people were great and friendly. I would definitely come again and recommend it to any friends and family. Some of the low reviews on here are ridiculous. The stupidity of people astounds me. There are complaints about the walk, yet, you will be walking around in the park anyway - use logic people. If you want a bigger place, then go to a bigger zoo! Prices are what they are, you see the exact same pricing at any attraction. At the end of the day, be grateful you are able to see these animals up close and have some encounters, even if it is brief. A little appreciation goes a long way. To the staff, keep up the good work! And I think it's awesome you take the time to respond to these. ๐
Went for the meerkats experience. They were gorgeous thank you. Lovely experience. But please change how you dramatise "30mins prior!" To check in... As we stressed ourselves getting there only to be turned away and come back "about 5mins" prior to encounter... Which lead to another 25mins of stressing aboutt what time is where we are to get back ECT... Just make it 10mins prior as reduces ppls time watching skills and also reduces staff interactions with us coming back and forth. Also the customer should get to pick the four best photos to print.... Not the photographer.... And no I don't want to pay another $30odd dollars for the rest of the photos because I wanted that photo that was better to me personally.... The grounds is lovely stunning Love Shaun the sheep for my kids. That was a highlight for us and my kids as well. We loved the $12 prospecting. The lunch buffet look gorgeous and beautiful lunch cafe restaurant. Not many animals to be honest, there is but not for the admission price. This place is good for little kids under 6 and overseas tourists. Also need a shuttle from car park to the front entrance gate... It's alot for elderly or disabled or hot days
Paradise Country is one of the parks included in the annual pass. Itโs a great place for families or anyone who loves animals ๐. The park isnโt too big, so spending around 2โ3 hours there is just about right. The show schedule is well arranged, with performances almost one after another, so you donโt need to spend too much time waiting. Besides the shows, you can also get close to the farm animals, which really gives you that Australian farm experience. This time, I also added the Koala Encounter (AUD $99). It includes one photo with a koala, and you can also feed the koala up close ๐จ. The staff shared lots of interesting information about koalas during the experience, so it felt very interactive and not just like a simple photo session. If you really like koalas, I think the AUD $99 is definitely worth it. Being able to observe and feed a koala up close was such a memorable experience, and it was the activity I would recommend the most at Paradise Country.
Extremely disappointed and really expected more from a place that has such an expensive entry fee. I don't recommend visiting if you or a person in your group has any physical disabilities it's not disability friendly at all. The small variety of animals they have are pretty cute, however we've experienced a far better variety and experience from a local places in Victoria for less than half the price.
Paradise Country was nice and that's exactly what it is. A great place to take you family, the animals were lovely, the staff were friendly. It has a lot of potential to be great. The best part was the mining or panning. We only saw 4 roos and a bunch of Goats. The had cows and llamas but only towards the entry. It might be because of the weather but the dingos, wombats and other animals were hidden. Koalas are plenty but the atmosphere was a bit dull. I heard they were understaffed so maybe if they had more staff there could have been more talks and experiences. Still would recommend going. My experience may be different under different circumstances.
