Dive into a splashtacular family day out at Wet’n’Wild, where summer is endless and so is the fun.
Wet’n’Wild offers a world class line-up of pools and slides for the young and young at heart including the awesome Constrictor featuring the tightest banking turns in the world. Experience the tallest water park slide tower in Australia now open, boasting three epic new heart racing slides. Or chill out in the all new H2Oasis splash zone, the perfect place to relax and cool down with the family!
If you are after a slower pace, you can’t go past Calypso Beach or the Giant Wave Pool – the perfect place to relax and unwind after all the action.
We took the G:Link from Broadbeach to Helensvale then TX7 to Wet'n'Wild and was there before the park opened. A few of the slides/rides were closed for maintenance. The lines were reasonable throughout the day, with the maximum we waited around 60 mins, but they were a lot shorter at first. There is the Wave Pool, Lazy River (Which was closed), Whirlpools and Kid's Water Play area for those who are not or can't do the slides. Shorter opening hours in winter
Wet and wild on the Goldie - slip and slide heaven! Visited with the 3 teen kids. We had the multi pass which included this park. The rides are great and lots of variety. The only drawback is the lines can be extraordinarily long, and waiting up to an hour for a ride very quickly consumes the day. Wave pool and calypso beach are a great option for a slower pace. Summer brings movies in the wave pool which is a fun option to enjoy the day.
First time visiting Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast and it was an ok day out. Went during winter and the weather was actually perfect, not cold at all. A few rides were closed for maintenance and some food shops weren’t open, which was a bit of a downside. Big positive as there no queues! You could go on your favourite rides over and over again without waiting, which made the experience way more enjoyable. Overall, a good visit and definitely something different, especially during the quieter period.
This was my first trip to the Gold Coast and visiting Wet’n’Wild turned out to be one of the highlights. We went as a family and while the teenagers were all about the extreme slides, I ended up stepping out of my comfort zone and trying the Tornado definitely nerve racking at first, but absolutely worth it. One thing you really need to get right is timing. We arrived right at opening (around 9:30am), and that made a huge difference. By midday, queues get noticeably longer. For example, we waited close to an hour for the Tornado, while other rides like Black Hole were much quicker and just as fun in a different way. The park does a great job catering to different energy levels. After the intense rides, the wave pool and lazy river were perfect for relaxing. The wave pool was particularly impressive and I felt reassured seeing how attentive and professional the lifeguards were. Facilities overall were good and staff were helpful and knew what they were doing. Food options in the central cafe were decent and reasonably priced, which is always a plus in theme parks. One thing that felt a bit odd was how people reserve chairs by leaving their belongings for hours. It makes it harder to find a place to sit unless you use a locker, which we did but then you might end up sitting on the ground during breaks. Overall, it’s a really well rounded water park with something for everyone from adrenaline seekers to families just looking to unwind. Definitely worth visiting if you’re on the Gold Coast.
Hoddles of FUN! Everything was perfect. When we went, it wasn't super busy and it was a nice sunny 26 degree day. Didn't wait long for rides and everything was super safe. Even when an older lady was drowning the life guard was on her within seconds, hats of to that girl. The kids were running around having the time of their lives and even Mum and Dad got to enjoy a cheeky beverage by the pool. Top quality stuff. Heaps of rides for all ages and heights. Honestly, it's a must when visiting The Gold Coast
