MANIAX Axe Throwing Canberra

Great fun! An hour was a good amount of time for us to get the hang of it and then play a few games. A couple of minor injuries but the staff member was very helpful and friendly and took care of it. They had some loud get areas and a bar setup too so I imagine in the evenings it would get busy with groups. Make sure you wear solid shoes so you don't get bark chips stabbing you in the foot! My sister had one go through her soft-soled shoe. I would suggest solid leather tops (boots would work well) as well just incase you drop the axe on your foot (although this didn't happen luckily. This isn't kiddy plastic axe-throwing, it's the real deal! A good workout in walking back and forth to pick up axes, but also for the core and arms/shoulders. I imagine it would have some good strength and posture benefits doing it regularly. Having a variety of games makes it interesting, as well as the ability to compete with friends. We're in the process of organising our next visit already!

Was an amazing experience. Daniel was very helpful and got me throwing bullseyes with just two tips. Plan on going again. Great place for a first date.

Yesterday we celebrated my partners birthday at Maniax. We had a fantastic time, Luke "Chewy" took care of us and he did an amazing job. We really enjoyed our session. 10/10 Highly recommend!

I came here as part of a Uni event and it was amazing!! Lachy and Freya talked us through and it was so much fun! Would recommend 10/10! All the other employees were so nice too
