Make the most of your visit with a free one-hour guided tour of the Gallery. Join the Gallery's friendly and knowledgeable Voluntary Guides for unique insights into the highlights of the National Gallery’s collection from Australia and across the globe. Home to the most valuable collection of art in Australia, the national collection comprises over 155,000 works of art, including the world’s largest collection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art, and some of the finest examples in Australia of modern art from Europe, America, Asia and the Pacific. Collection tours run daily at 10.30am and 2pm and run for 60 minutes. Bookings are recommended, with limited walk-up spots available on the day. Please note, that tours are for a maximum of 15 people and are subject to availability on the day.
