About

Secluded in very private waterfront bushland, The Pavilions at Mona are eight super-flash luxury dens, perfect for those who like their luxe accommodation to be both stimulating and relaxing.

Aside from their shared—stunning—sunrise-aspect views of the River Derwent, each pavilion is uniquely adorned with artworks from Mona's private collection, bespoke furniture by Tasmanian designers, and furnishings from the likes of Philippe Starck, Patricia Urquiola and Ron Arad (plus the odd bit of pre-Columbian sculpture).

As well as the usual niceties—spas, great sheets, fluffy bathrobes, primo minibar, access to a heated infinity pool, sauna and gym—guests receive complimentary daily breakfast in the lavish Source Restaurant, plus a tasting at Moorilla Cellar Door.

A stay in The Pavilions also gives you access to Mona, Phrontisterion (Mona's library) and James Turrell's Event Horizon and Amarna.
