About

Eyes on Wildlife offers day, multi-day and nocturnal birding and wildlife tours for small groups and families in the Wet Tropics Bioregion and surrounds. Eyes on Wildlife focuses on getting you close up with some of the rarest and most special wonders of evolution in the world. Animals that can only be found here in our beautiful Wet Tropics and nowhere else in the world.

Tree-kangaroos, gliding possums and other marsupials, Platypus, birds of paradise, cranes, birds that build bowers to attract females, carpet pythons or owls. The wildlife in this area is so diverse and so omnipresent, it will leave you in awe.

Day tours usually focus on birds, but the Mammals Galore Tour can also get you Platypus, Lumholtz's Tree-kangaroo, some other mammals and even some reptiles.

Most mammals in Australia are nocturnal. Nocturnal tours let you experience the forest in a completely different way. It's a different world. The world of possums, geckos, owls, frogs... It's a world that takes you the furthest away from your daily life and worries. Eyes on Wildlife specializes in showing this world.

Check the website to find out which tour suits you the best. Tours can be booked privately as well, and can focus on one specific target, or can be completely tailored to your needs.
