I recently completed the pack (and stress) free Gidjuum Gulganyi walk with Connect Adventures and was blown away by their attention to detail. Can’t rate Jason and Kate highly enough. They provided us with an unforgettable experience at an exceptionally reasonable price. The gear was first class, the food unbelievably good, plentiful and always fresh…beyond what Ive ever experienced in over 20 years of adventure travel locally and internationally. Kate (as a nutritionist) has a focus and passion for introducing locally sourced delicacies and premium quality food. Initially we had booked the trip with another provider but changed the booking on the advice of a friend. I thought that because Connect Adventures was cheaper it might be sub standard but I was so wrong! Booking with Connect Adventures was the smart choice. They are committed to providing an immersive experience where you can truly connect with nature and culture. They exceeded my expectations in every aspect, the food, comfort, knowledge, respect for the environment and attention to detail. I can’t wait to book my next trip. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I just completed the Gidjuum Gulganyi 4 day walk which was amazing. I totally recommend Connect Adventures. Jason and Kate went beyond my expectations. They were so gracious, helpful and knowledgeable and prioritised safety, comfort and sustainability. The food provided was filling, healthy, very tasty and with lots of local produce also provided. Everyone on our group felt so spoiled.
Last week I completed the Gidjuum Gulganyi walk with Connect Adventures. Absolutely 5 star. Our hosts were outstanding - caring, knowledgeable, adaptable, efficient, on time. We chose to just carry day packs leaving Connect Adventures to take our equipment and personal items between campsites. When we arrived each afternoon, we found our tents set up with all our personal items inside. Brilliant. The campsites were thoughtfully located . The tents were on raised platforms. The toilets were were clean. Food and snacks were thoughtfully prepared and served. Very healthy with some attention to indigenous ingredients. Lunches and snacks were yummy. The walk was graded accurately as moderate. Five of us were friends who had been retired for some time and we managed OK. The other five were younger and "bolted it in." The distances walked each day were quite manageable. The hills were not too steep. The weather was fabulous which added to the pleasure of walking through magnificent Australian bush. There was a great diversity of trees, bushes and flowering plants. The track was muddy in a few places (wear decent boots) but generally in excellent condition. Using walking poles was helpful for us oldies. A wonderful experience and highly recommended.
An exceptional experience. Great attention to detail by our hosts - from the cosy tents and beds, to the thoughtfully selected local and native foods. Gentle, knowledgeable guides, and lots of opportunities to walk in silence and connect more deeply with Country. The trail is stunning, an important place that deserves this level of respect. I can’t wait to experience more Connect Adventures walks.
