Jackalope Mornington Peninsula

My husband and I recently stayed at Jackalope during our anniversary trip, and the experience was truly exceptional from beginning to end. The venue is absolutely stunning, with beautiful surroundings, luxurious rooms, and an atmosphere that feels both relaxing and sophisticated. What made our stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel valued throughout our visit. The service, food, and overall experience were all top notch, and it’s easily one of the best places we’ve stayed. We cannot wait to come back again.

Very comfortable, peaceful, relaxing premium hotel. The staff were all very warm and welcoming, always smiling and greeting. The vineyard room had a beautiful view. The bed was super comfortable. Heated bathroom floor was a bonus. I was surprised the room lacked tea as it would have been nice to enjoy an evening or morning sitting in the balcony having a tea. Most basic hotels always include tea. However the complimentary mini bar and snacks were a very nice touch although I didn’t drink the alcohol options and would have benefited from a juice. The unlimited popcorn and ice cream was also a super touch. There was supposed to be shaving kit and other amenities which i could not find. There were toothbrushes hidden in the cupboard drawer. Turn down service was very relaxing, setting the lights, refreshing the doona and towels, exceptional. The pool looked beautiful, although it was too cold to use. The spa also looked amazing, but was lukewarm and not enjoyable to use. It should be nice and hot in my opinion. Same for the sauna, I sat in it for 15 minutes and I didn’t break a sweat. I’m also not sure it’s an actual infra red sauna as stated. The breakfast the next day was tasty. Was offered one pastry of either a mini croissant, mini danish, or mini turnover. However there were some delicious jams with noting to use them with which was odd. I would suggest offering at least a second pastry or a side of bread to use these with, as no one would put jams on an apple turnover or danish. The unlimited juice , teas, coffees was a really nice touch. The included wine tasting was a nice add on for wine lovers, although I’m not a wine person so I couldn’t really appreciate it. The cocktail lounge is stunning, like super stunning. And you can order food in there which I wish I knew earlier. Thanks for a lovely stay. 🙏🏼

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Jackalope and truly enjoyed the experience. The hotel, design, atmosphere, and overall service were fantastic. One small area for improvement would be the service at Doot Doot Doot, as some of the staff could have been a little warmer and friendlier. Overall, still a very memorable stay.

Jackalope Hotel is pure luxury from the moment you arrive. The views across the vineyard are breathtaking and set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The rooms are incredible, beautifully designed, and every detail feels intentional. It’s the kind of space you don’t want to leave once you’re in it. The pool is another highlight, relaxing, stunning, and perfectly positioned to soak in the surroundings. Dining at Doot Doot Doot was a standout experience. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere intimate and refined. We stayed for a birthday weekend, and while it would have been lovely to see a little extra acknowledgment for a special occasion, it didn’t take away from what was still a fantastic experience overall. An incredible destination for a luxurious escape, special celebration, or simply to indulge. We’ll absolutely be back.
